A top actress, her judo-athlete twin, an old camcorder and one first love who dies in episode 1. Dive into You wastes no time pulling you back to 2010, and somewhere between the awards-night glamour and the sweaty judo halls, you start wondering where all of it was shot.
The short answer: South Korea, with fan-spotted scenes around Seoul, Incheon and Goyang, plus a run of seaside spots on Gangwon’s east coast. Nothing has been officially confirmed by the production yet, so here’s every location fans have matched so far, and which ones you can actually visit.

What Is Dive into You About?
Yoon Ha-na (Kim Ji-yeon) is one of Korea’s biggest actresses. Jung Woo-jae (Park Seo-ham), once a promising high school judo athlete, quit the sport after an incident and became her personal bodyguard. He’s also been quietly in love with her since their school days. Then he dies protecting her, in the very first episode.
Ha-na and her twin brother Yoon Ha-ru (Jang Se-hyuk), a national judo athlete, discover that an old camcorder can send them back in time. The catch: when they land in 2010, Ha-na’s soul is in her brother’s body. So the top actress has to survive as a high school judoka while trying to stop the accident that kills Woo-jae, according to Soompi and Kyunghyang Sports.
It’s a Korea-US-Japan co-production from Dexter Pictures and Amuse, with Rakuten Viki joining as an investor and co-producer, per Dexter Studios. Korean wiki Namuwiki calls it the first Korean drama Viki has invested in this way. It’s paying off overseas: the show ranked #1 on Viki in 109 countries in its first week, per Wikitree, even with modest TV ratings at home.
The judo scenes are more real than they look, too. Jang Se-hyuk has actual judo experience and helped coach Park Seo-ham, who learned the sport from scratch for the role, per The Fact.
When and Where Was Dive into You Filmed?
Filming started in May 2026, per Namuwiki, only about four months before the premiere.
The production hasn’t published a location list. What we do have:
- A behind-the-scenes set-visit post mentions the crew working around Seoul, Incheon and Goyang, including a small cinema just outside Seoul used for interior scenes, shared on Facebook. The cinema hasn’t been named.
- Fan location trackers have matched around a dozen specific places, mostly across the greater Seoul area and the Gangwon coast, as mapped by KdramaPins. These are scene matches by fans, not official confirmations.
So treat everything below as “very likely” rather than “confirmed,” and use it as a route for a K-drama-themed trip, not a scene-by-scene checklist.

Right on Gwanghwamun Square in Jongno-gu, this museum is one of the fan-spotted locations for the drama, per KdramaPins. Its sleek modern interior and rooftop garden (with a view over Gyeongbokgung Palace) make it an easy one to add to any Seoul day.
- Address: 198 Sejong-daero, Jongno-gu, Seoul
- Nearest subway: Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5)
- Tip: Pair it with Gyeongbokgung and a hanbok rental. See where to rent hanbok in Seoul.
Can you visit? Yes. Admission is free; check the museum’s site for current opening hours before you go.
2. Dalmaji Park (Geumho-dong, Seongdong-gu)

Officially Dalmajibong Park, this small 80 m hill above Geumho-dong is also on the fan list. Seoul lists it as one of the city’s best viewpoints: from the lit wooden deck you can see the Han River, Dongho and Seongsu bridges, Seoul Forest, N Seoul Tower and Lotte World Tower, per Seoul Media Hub. It’s exactly the kind of quiet night-view spot K-dramas use for late-night talks, and far less crowded than Namsan.
- Nearest subway: Oksu Station (Line 3 / Gyeongui-Jungang Line), Exit 4, then a 10-minute walk and some steep wooden stairs
Can you visit? Yes, it’s a free public park. Go around sunset for the river view.

Incheon Filming Locations
3. Incheon International Airport (Terminals 1 and 2)

Episode 1 has Ha-na flying home from an overseas schedule, with her agency head Seo Ye-rang (Moon Seung-yu) already planning how to handle the reporters waiting at arrivals, per Kyunghyang Sports. Fans have pinned both of Incheon Airport’s terminals as filming spots, per KdramaPins. That’s no surprise: Incheon is Korea’s go-to “celebrity airport arrival” backdrop.
Can you visit? Yes, and if you’re flying into Korea, you already will. The public arrival halls are open to everyone.
4. Yulmok Library (Jung-gu, Incheon)
One of the quieter finds on the fan list. Yulmok-dong, in Incheon’s old downtown not far from Jayu Park, is where Incheon’s first public library opened in 1922, per Yuga Crew, and the neighborhood still has an old-town feel. Fans placed Yulmok Library among the drama’s locations; which scene it appears in hasn’t been pinned down yet.
Can you visit? It’s a public library, but check its current opening days before you go. Keep your voice down and be respectful of readers if you’re taking photos.
Staying in Incheon? See things to do in Songdo, Incheon.
Gyeonggi Filming Locations
5. Ilsan Lake Park (Goyang)
Goyang comes up in both the set-visit post and the fan map, which matches Ilsan Lake Park as one of the outdoor spots, per KdramaPins. It’s a huge man-made lake with long walking and cycling paths. Goyang is also home to several big broadcast studios, which is why so many K-dramas shoot around Ilsan.
- Nearest subway: Jeongbalsan Station (Line 3)
Can you visit? Yes, free and open all year. Rent a bike and loop the lake.
6. Sports Island (Suwon)
With Ha-ru and Woo-jae both written as judo athletes, sports venues show up a lot. The fan map lists a venue called Sports Island in Suwon, but there’s no address, scene or photo match published yet, so treat this one as the least certain on the list.
Can you visit? Unconfirmed. Don’t plan a trip around this one until more details surface.

Gangwon East Coast Filming Locations (Donghae)
Three of the fan-spotted locations sit in Donghae, a quiet port city on Korea’s east coast, which makes it the best region for a dedicated fan trip.
7. Mukho Port

The heart of old Donghae. Mukho Port is a working fishing harbor, and the hillside above it is covered in the murals of Nongoldam-gil, with Mukho Lighthouse at the top. Fans have matched Mukho Port to the drama, per KdramaPins. Ferries to Ulleungdo also leave from here, per Wikivoyage.
Can you visit? Yes. Walk up Nongoldam-gil (free) to the lighthouse for the best harbor view.
8. Daejin Port Breakwater
A smaller harbor about 4 km north of Mukho, with a breakwater, a seafood center and a big parking lot. You can walk the coast road from Mukho Port to Daejin in about an hour, passing Kkamak Rock and Eodal Beach, per VisitKorea. Fans spotted the breakwater as a filming location.
Can you visit? Yes, but breakwaters can be closed in rough weather. Don’t go out on the rocks when waves are high.
9. Hanseom Beach and Hanseom Gamsung Sea Trail
The prettiest stop on the list. The Hanseom Gamsung Sea Trail is a 2.2 km coastal path running from the Gamchusa overpass to Hanseom Beach, through pine forest, cliffs and photo zones, with a light tunnel that glows at night, per Trazy. Fans matched both the beach and the coastal path to the drama.
- Location: Cheongok-dong, Donghae, about 5 minutes by car from Donghae Station
Can you visit? Yes, free and open year-round.
Getting to Donghae: Express buses from Seoul take a little over 3 hours, per Wikivoyage. One night is enough to cover Mukho, Daejin and Hanseom.

Other Fan-Spotted Locations
10. Chuncheon (Gangwon)
Fans have pinned a bridge in Chuncheon as a filming spot, per KdramaPins. Chuncheon is about an hour from Seoul by ITX train and is an easy day trip for dakgalbi and Nami Island.
Can you visit? Yes, bridges and riversides are public. The exact scene match is still unconfirmed.
11. Ahn Byung-keun Olympic Memorial Judo Hall (Daegu)
If any location fits this drama perfectly, it’s this one. The judo hall in Duryu Park, Dalseo-gu, Daegu was built in 1987 to honor Ahn Byung-keun, per Maeil Shinmun. He and Ha Hyung-joo won Korea’s first Olympic judo golds at Los Angeles 1984, per Dailian. The fan map doesn’t say which scene was shot here, but the drama’s judo tournaments and selection matches (a big part of episodes 1 to 4) are the obvious candidates.
Can you visit? Duryu Park is public and free. The hall itself is a working sports venue, so you may only be able to see it from outside unless an event is on.
